The RMS420-C600 Server combines two 2nd generation Intel® Xeon® Processor E5 Family CPUs with very high memory bandwidth and exceptional I/O capability. It is optimized for applications requiring low noise and high parallel processing.
The RMS420-C600 Server is designed for compute-intensive applications requiring parallel processing. This server combines two state-of-the-art Intel® Xeon® Processor E5 Family CPUs with very high memory bandwidth and exceptional I/O capability designed to support multiple co-processors. The basic server can support two six-core CPUs for a total of 12 cores. Optimized to support additional graphics processor units, the RMS420-C600 can meet your most challenging imaging needs in a quiet, compact server platform.

Heterogeneous Compute Platform

The RMS420-C600 was designed to support multiple high performance coprocessors in order to provide maximum compute performance in a single platform. Two PCIe Gen 3.0 x16 slots are provided with spacing appropriate for double-wide cards such as high performance GPU cards, typically used as co-processors for high performance parallel-processing. Power supplies up to 1200 watts are available to support high-power cards and the chassis has been designed with robust and efficient cooling to handle the thermal load.

Modular Chassis for Design Flexibility

The standard product versions of the RMS420-C600 server include a drive bay for up to five 3.5″ SATA or SAS drives and also support an internal disk drive plus a slim-line optical drive. These configurations support up to two full-length double-wide PCIe cards. Other options are available including support for 3 front-accessible hard disks for easy maintenance.
