In 2007, a change in when Daylight Saving Time happens in the U.S.A. will go in to effect. OS-9's system clock is typically set to world time and C library functions can return local time values. One internal library function will need to be updated to handle the new 2007 rules for Daylight Saving Time, which will now begin three weeks earlier, and end one week later. This will only be a library update (clib.l), as the actual OS-9® kernel is not affected.
Future releases of OS-9® should support the new Daylight Saving Time.
