December 27, 2001 Added new Application Notes to the AppNotes page including a clear screen command, software reboot command, using os9merge, dealing with C++ comments in C code, and retrieving the Ethernet address from an Ethernet device.. November 29, 2001 The Hawk V2.3 update has been updated on the Software Updates page. October 31, 2001 The Hawk update on the web site now updates Hawk to version 2.3. You can obtain this update from the Software Updates page. Please see the releasenotes.txt file in the zip for more information. October 18, 2001 The Hawk V2.2 update has been updated on the Software Updates page. October 1, 2001 The Hawk V2.2 update has been updated on the Software Updates page. The application note "Windows 95/98 Null Modem SLIP connections (MS-Word)" has been updated on the App Notes page to include the differences between Win95 and Win98. The "SLIP Setup for Windows NT 4.0" application note has been removed since this is described in the Using Hawk manual. September 14, 2001 The PowerPC 3.0 libraries have been updated on the Software Updates page. The libraries were shipped with long data references, and are now compiled with short data references. Please see the description file for more information. September 6, 2001 The Hawk V2.2 update has been updated on the Software Updates page. Support for the PCI LAVA four port serial driver has been added to the Software Updates page. Currently this driver is ported for the X86 processor, but instructions are included for porting to other processors. Please see the description file for more information. The FAQ regarding Hawk locking up during startup on a very few Windows 2000 systems has been updated for Hawk V2.2 users. You will not need this upgrade unless Hawk locks up at the splash screen on a Windows 2000 system. August 30, 2001 Some 68K libraries have been updated for the Enhanced OS-9® for 68K 1.1 package. The update resolves issues of errors encountered when compiling under CPU32 and linking to 68000 libraies, linking to CPU32 libraries, and mismatched CSLs. This patch can be downloaded from the Software Updates page. The Hawk V2.2 update has also been updated on the Software Updates page. August 8, 2001 The incremental Hawk V2.2 update has been updated on the Software Updates page. This update should only be applied after the full Hawk V2.2 update has been applied. July 3, 2001 An update to Hawk V2.2 has been made available on the Software Updates page. This is a BETA release of Hawk, and should only be applied to Hawk V2.2. Please see the description file for more information. April 19, 2001 New FAQ added to the Hawk 2.X FAQ page regarding STG Exception error messages in Hawk. The release notes under the registered Support section have been updated to reflect the threaded version 3.0 release of Enhanced OS-9® On-Line Documentation updated to reflect the latest releases. March 22, 2001 A bug related to alarms has been identified and corrected in edition 372 of the 68K kernel (post OS v3.2/product v1.1 release). This particular issue spanned kernel editions 337 through 371. The updated kernels have been placed on the Software Updates page. Please see the description file for more information. On the General FAQ page, we added "How can I tell what version of OS-9® I am running?" with answer.
