Radisys Appoints Wassim Matragi as VP of Global Engineering and Ted Pennington as VP of Global Supply Chain
Hillsboro, OR, June 20, 2016 – Radisys® Corporation (NASDAQ: RSYS), the services acceleration company, today announced that Wassim Matragi has been appointed to vice president of global engineering and Ted Pennington to vice president of global supply chain. Both previously held leadership roles in their respective fields and have extensive experience working with telecom service providers throughout their careers.
Matragi joins the company with extensive technology experience and a software and full systems background built upon his work at Sonus Networks. At Sonus, Matragi most recently held the role of vice president of engineering, and previously served as vice president of professional services and system integration. Prior to Sonus Networks, he was with Lucent Technologies as a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories and worked at both Nortel and IBM. Matragi holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
Pennington assumes responsibility for Radisys’ global supply chain, bringing a proven track record of supply chain transformation, operational execution and contract manufacturing. He has overseen global supply chains while holding executive and leadership roles at McAfee, Tellabs, Lucent, Cisco, Asteel/Flash Manufacturing Group, and most recently, as vice president of operations at Ixia.
