The two companies enjoy a close partnership as ADLINK continues to integrate its Edge platform hardware with Radisys' software and integration services to provide key, robust open architecture platforms to service providers. Together, ADLINK and Radisys continue to work together to fine-tune and offer advanced CORD and similar open source solutions.

Open Networking Foundation (ONF)

Radisys and Open Networking Foundation (ONF) share a strong and long-standing partnership where Radisys has been a key supply chain partner, working to provide advanced platforms and develop a robust ecosystem around key open source initiatives such as CORD for global operators. Radisys continues to play a pivotal role within ONF, in this direction.

Telecom Infra Project (TIP)

Radisys has been working with TIP since its inception to disaggregate the eNodeB into functional components aligned around the LTE protocol layers. Radisys has made several contribution of its Intellectual Property towards community to build the ecosystem for open source solutions. Some of its contributions to TIP include: E-UTRAN RAN eNodeB stack, E-UTRAN EPC stack, integration with OAI eNodeB stack, development of Open API definitions, and end to end solution integration to demonstrate true multi-vendor vRAN solution with an all IP-based front-haul.


Radisys and Intel have introduced the industry’s first-to-market 5G Software Suite focusing on Next Generation NodeB (gNB), 5G User Equipment (UE) and 5G Core Network (CN). Radisys 3GPP Release 15 compliant gNB provides support for mmWave and sub6GHz frequencies. Pre-validated with Intel’s FlexRAN 5G reference architecture, which is based on both Intel® processors and Intel® FPGAs, Radisys’ 5G Software Suite delivers support for Non-Standalone Mode (NSA), providing an easy migration path from LTE/LTE-Advanced deployments to 5G.

Bai Cells

 Bai Cells selected Radisys’ MobilityEngine LTE small cell software to deliver LTE in unlicensed spectrum functionality for Baicells’ Light4G small cell solutions. Baicells’ Light4G small cell solution combines LTE-Unlicensed (LTE-U) technology with small cells, enabling mobile operators to provide high-capacity LTE mobile service at lower cost, thus reducing their CapEx and OpEx. The Baicells’ small cell integrates Radisys small cell software, enhanced with LTE-U functionality, on the Intel® Transcede™ LTE System-on-Chip (SoC) processors.

Parallel Wireless

Parallel Wireless has developed a multi-mode solution – the HetNet Gateway (HNG) – enabled by Radisys MobilityEngine Femotatility 3G small cell software. This   integrated solution was shortlisted by the Small Cell Forum Awards for recognition in its Small Cell Network Element Design and Technology category in 2016.

Qualcomm Technologies Inc.

 Radisys has partnered with Qualcomm Technologies Inc. to deliver an integrated, pre-validated and tested solution for Qualcomm FSM9955 chipset, delivering an end-to-end RAN SoC (system on a chipset) targeted for small cells and CBRS deployments. The solution paves the way for faster 5G adoption where RAN densification and network slicing are key requirements.

InterDigital Inc.

InterDigital is a mobile technology research and development company, that have demonstrated interoperability between a Radisys end-to-end LTE network, including the MobilityEngine™ eNodeB and Evolved Packet Core, with InterDigital’s oneMPOWER Platform. The success of this integration and interoperability showcases that the networking technologies supporting Heterogeneous Networks (HetNets) composed of disparate LTE and Wi-Fi networks are ready for network deployment.
