Health and Wellness Programs

In addition to our comprehensive health care plans, RadiSys sponsors other programs to promote the health and well-being of you and your family:

  • Healthy Outlook Program for Disease Management - Aetna's Disease Management Program empowers you and your enrolled family to self-manage chronic disease and foster effective partnerships with health care providers.
  • Simple Steps To a Healthier Life – Aetna’s Simple Steps program is an interactive web-based wellness program that can help enhance your health and well-being.
  • L'il Appleseed Maternity Management Program - Aetna's L'il Appleseed Maternity Management Program is designed to help moms-to-be give their babies a healthy start with educational materials and services.
  • Stop Smoking Program ­ RadiSys pays the full cost for employees and up to $300 for each dependent.
  • Health Club Membership ­ RadiSys has arranged for discounts on health club memberships. RadiSys pays 100% of the enrollment fee and reduced monthly dues apply.
  • Flu Shots ­ Provided to employees at a reduced cost.
  • 24 Hour NurseLine - RadiSys' NurseLine program offers unlimited access to experienced registered nurses who will give clear answers to any health-related questions and health care in general. This program is available to employees and immediate family members at no cost.

Flexible Work Programs

  • Work at Home: Telecommuting and work at home programs are available with prior management approval.
  • Individualized Work Schedules: Daily arrival, departure and lunch times and weekly schedules can be varied to provide flexibility in managing work and personal time needs, subject to management approval.
  • Part-Time Employment: Regular part-time employment is available subject to staffing requirements and business needs.
  • Phaseback-to-work: Primary caregiver may return to work part-time with full benefits for up to one month following Parental Leave.

Employee Resource Programs

  • Child/Family Resource and Referral Service includes customized referrals for the care and education of children from birth to age 18 and counseling on family and personal work/life issues
  • Adult/Elder Resource and Referral Service includes customized referrals to adult/elder care services and counseling on family and personal work/life issues.
  • Legal/Financial Service provides free legal and financial planning consultations.
  • Telephone Concierge Service lets you delegate the search for resources that meet your personal and at-home needs (household services, shopping, personal services, education).
  • Employee Assistance Program provides confidential short-term counseling (up to six in-person sessions per incident) for a wide array of life, relationship, mental health, chemical dependency, and general living difficulties.
  • Work and Family seminars on a variety of topics: balancing career and family, blended families, parenting skills, managing change.
