Time Off
At RadiSys we work hard, but we also encourage employees to take time off to rest, relax and enjoy personal interests. Our programs include:
Vacation
Exempt employees receive three weeks vacation as of January 1 of each year (from date of hire through December 31, the three weeks is pro-rated). In year 11, exempt employees receive four weeks of vacation. And, our program is more generous than a sabbatical program since you also receive additional "vacation bonus weeks" beginning in year six. Vacation bonus weeks increase your regular vacation leave by two weeks every other year beginning in year six (you receive five weeks vacation every other year), and increases your regular vacation leave by three weeks every other year beginning in year 10 (you receive six weeks vacation every other year).
Non-exempt employees accrue Flextime that can be used for vacation, personal absences, medical appointments or periodic personal illness. Employees accrue 12 days in year one; 18 days in years two - five; 24 days per year in years six - nine; and 29 days each year thereafter.
Holidays
RadiSys observes ten paid holidays each calendar year, including two personal floating holidays that may be taken at the employee's discretion.
Community Service
To encourage employees to be active partners and good citizens in the communities in which they live and work, RadiSys provides each employee with 8 hours of paid leave per year to volunteer for activities that benefit his/her community.
