Seminars and Conferences
When there is a particular or specialized new skill that one needs to learn, attending a seminar or conference can be an efficient way to gain new knowledge. Seminars and conferences can vary greatly in terms of their quality, so thorough research is recommended prior to registering. Your manager’s approval for the cost of the seminar, any work time required, and any related travel is needed prior to your signing up.
