View Support Downloads for this product
The CMS-9000 is a carrier-class media server optimized for large IMS Media Resource Function (MRF) network deployments.
Generate IMS Multimedia Service Revenues
The Radisys CMS–9000 media server provides a standards–based Multimedia Resource Function (MRF) that can be shared across a broad range of IMS applications from multiple application suppliers. Increased processing power and I/O throughput results in dramatic performance improvements for XML–based IVR and messaging applications, while expanding multi–service versatility for numerous IMS applications, including multimedia conferencing, IP Centrex, ringback tones, IP contact centers, video communications, and complex audio/video transcoding.
Enables Fixed Mobile Convergence
Radisys' CMS–9000 media server enables fixed mobile convergence by delivering a shared IP media processing resource in the IMS for any access network, including wireless, broadband, cable, PSTN or satellite.
Scalable Hardware Architecture
The CMS–9000 media server provides industry–leading scalability and flexibility. Capacity can be increased through additional media processing cards, while innovative DSP, CPU and security accelerator cards provide hardware–level tuning based on application requirements.
New Industry Benchmark in Price Performance
Radisys' CMS–9000 media server sets a new industry benchmark for price per port across the widest range of voice, video and multimedia applications in VoIP and IMS networks.
Based on eXMP™ Media Processing Technology
The CMS–9000 media server is based on Radisys' new eXMP™ technology, a cross–platform media processing technology that dynamically maximizes media processing capacity across available CPU and DSP hardware resources. Based on Linux, eXMP technology also provides improved security and management features 100% Investment Protection
The CMS–9000 media server offers the same media processing features, control interface flexibility, and management capabilities as Radisys's existing products. The IMS–optimized media processing cards are 100% backwards compatible with existing CMS–6000 media servers deployed worldwide.
