Ray Adensamer, RadiSys Senior Product Marketing Manager, will present recent advances in HD voice and what is required from a platform perspective.
Next-generation VoIP conferencing platforms based on IP media servers are increasingly being deployed by Conferencing Service Providers (CSPs) around the globe. However, VoIP calls have not been known to provide the same voice quality as PSTN calls. Can an IP-based audio bridge deliver similar or better voice quality for both PSTN and VoIP calls? What is required in CSPs’ operations to deliver the quality that clients have come to expect? This session will explore recent advances in voice quality, what is required from a platform and operations perspective, and discuss new advances in HD voice.
