24 Jan – Future for Policy Enforcement and Network Probes
The DPI market and in particular the Policy Enforcement segment is set for strong growth with projection of greater than $1.5B by 2015.
With demanding performance requirements that call for 100s of Gbps throughput and a move to 100GbE, there is raging debate in the industry as to whether it’s a market for standalone equipment, embedded in routers or part of standards based mobile core network devices, and in particular how to achieve scalability and protect CapEx in existing 3G networks.
This webinar and a future related whitepaper will discuss the pros and cons of each approach discussing both technology and commercial challenges and the role COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) products can play in addressing these challenges.
